BY-LAW NUMBER 4396/94
Being a by-law to appoint Mr. C.M Timothy Sheffield as a
temporary Acting Clerk.
WHEREAS pursuant to section 73(3) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M 45,
as amended, when the office of clerk is vacant or the clerk is unable to carry on his or her
duties through illness or otherwise, the council may appoint a temporary acting clerk who
shall have all the powers and duties of the clerk under this and every other Act;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
I. Mr. CM. Timothy Sheffield is hereby appointed as a temporary acting clerk.
Bylaw read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21st day of February,
1994.
