BY-LAW NUMBER 4384/94
Being a by-law to amend the Town of Picketing Municipal Code
to fix instalment dates respecting the collection of taxes.
WHEREAS By-law 354/76, enacted by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing
on January 2, 1976, provides generally for the payment and collection of taxes; and
WHEREAS pursuant to section 3 of By-law 354/76, it is deemed expedient at this time to fix the
due dates for the payment of instalments of 1994 taxes;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS as follows:
1. Sections 2210.1, 2210.2, 2210.2. I and 2210.2.2 of the Town of Picketing Municipal Code
are hereby deleted and the following substituted therefore:
2210.1 The Town Treasurer-Tax Collector is hereby authorized to prepare and give
two separate tax notices for 1994 taxes, one notice being an INTERIM notice
with two instalments, and one being a FINAL notice with two instalments.
2210.2 The due dates for the payment of 1994 taxes in instalments are as follows:
2210.2.1 INTERIM Tax Notice
due date of first instalment February 23, 1994
due date of second instalment April 26, 1994
2210.2.2 FINAL Tax Notice
- due date of first instalment June 27, 1994
due date of second instalment September 27, 1994
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 7th day of February, 1994.
