BY-LAW NUMBER 4631/95
Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement
Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation -
M.T.R.C.A..
Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(I) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990,
chapter PIS, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace offcers for the
purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
I. The following person is hereby appointed as a municipal law enforcemem officer in
mad for the Town of Picketing and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times
upon lands under the control of the Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation
Authority in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/$7 are obeyed
and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law:

2. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section
1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section L
3. This appointment shall expire upon the person appointed in section 1 hereof ceasing to
he an employee of The Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.
4. By-law 3453/90 is hereby amended by deleting David Glenn Turkington.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 19th day of June, 1995.
