BY-LAW NUMBER 4892/96
Being a by-law to amend By-law 264/75 to establish
a 40 kilometer per hour speed limit on Rosebank Road
between Charnwood Court and Strouds Lane and on
Strouds Lane between Rosebank Road and Autumn
Crescent adjacent to St. Elizabeth Seton Separate School.
WHEREAS, By-law Number 264/75 allows Council to authorize speed limits on highways under
the jurisdiction of the Town of Picketing;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to establish the speed limit on Rosebank Road between
Charnwood Court and Strouds Lane and on Strouds Lane between Rosebank Road and Autumn
Crescent at 40 kilometres per hour;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law Number 264/75 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
FROM TO
Rosebank Road Charnwood Court Strouds Lane
Strouds Lane Rosebank Road Autumn Crescent
2. This By-law shall take effect upon approval by the Regional Municipality of Durham.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of December, 1996.
