BY-LAW NUMBER 4885/96
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2359/87 providing
for the regulating of parking, standing and stopping
on highways or parts of highways under the
jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of
Picketing and on private and municipal property.
WHEREAS By-law 2359/87, as amended, provides for regulating of parking, standing and
stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town
of Picketing and on private and Municipal property;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 2359/87, is hereby amended by deleting the following (No
Stopping);

Prohibited Times
Highway Side Between/And and Days
Garvolin Avenue South 25 metres west of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Krosno Blvd. and Monday to Friday
125 metres west of
Krosno Blvd.
Krosno Blvd. East and West Fordon Avenue and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
100 metres south of Monday to Friday
Fordon Avenue.
and adding the following (No Stopping);
Garvolin Avenue South 25 metres west of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Krosno Blvd. and Monday to Friday
125 metres west of
Krosno Blvd.
Krosno Blvd. East and West Fordon Avenue and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
100 metres south of Monday to Friday
Fordon Avenue.
2. Schedule "B" to By-law 2359/87, is hereby amended by deleting the following (No
Parking);
Krosno Blvd. West Garvolin Avenue and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
30 metres south of Monday to Friday
Morden Lane
and adding the following (No Parking);
Krosno Blvd. West Garvolin Avenue and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

3. Schedule "G" to By-law 2359/87, is hereby amended by deleting the following (School Bus
Loading Zones);
Garvolin Avenue North 25 metres west of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Krosno Blvd. and Monday to Friday
125 metres west of
Krosno Blvd.
and adding the following (School Bus Loading Zones);
Garvolin Avenue North 25 metres west of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Krosno Blvd. and Monday to Friday
125 metres west of
Krosno Blvd.
4. This by-law shall come into rome on the day that it is approved by the Council of the
Regional Municipality of Durham and when signs to the effect are erected.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED THIS 2nd day of December
1996.
