BY-LAW NO, 4864/96
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Licence
Agreement between The Corporation of the Town of
Picketing and the Shamrock Marine (December 20, 1996
to May 31, 1997).
WHEREAS, the Town has entered into an agreement to purchase Water Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and part of
Water Lot 3, Plan 65, Pickering (the "Keen Kraft Marina Lands"); and
WHEREAS, the Town wishes to enter into a licence agreement with Shamrock Marine to operate a
marina on part of the Keen Kraft Marina Lands.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Agreement, prepared in a form
acceptable to the Town Solicitor, between The Corporation of the Town of Pickering and the
Shamrock Marine to operate a boat storage and repair operation on the Keen Kraft Marina Lands
for the period December 20, 1996 to May 31, 1997.
2. The Town Solicitor is hereby authorized to amend the Purchase Agreements with James McKean
and with Price Waterhouse Limited by removing the condition that vacant possession be
provided on closing.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21 st day of October, 1996.
