Being a by-law to appoint Thomas J. Quinn as a Temporary
Acting Clerk
WHEREAS pursuant to section 73(3) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M. 45,
as mended, when the office of clerk is vacant or the clerk is unable to cany on his or her
duties through illness or otherwise, the Council may appoint a temporary acting clerk who
shah have all the powers and duties of the clerk under this and every other Act;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Mr. Thomas J. Quinn is hereby appointed as a Temporary Acting Clerk.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of August, 1996.
Mayor
