BY-LAW NUMBER4824 /96
Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 2511, as amended, to partially
implement the Official Plan of the Town of Picketing District Planning Area, Region of
Durham in Part of Lot 32 and Part of Block C, Plan M-1040 (Parts 5 and 6, Plan
40R-10559) in the Town of Pickering.

WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing deems it desirable to
amend By-law 2511, as amended, to permit the limited retail sale of light track equipment and
accessories, as an accessory use to the main light truck equipment and accessories manufacturing
and warehouse industrial use of the subject property, being Part of Lot 32 and Part of Block C,
Plan M-1040, identified as Parts 5 and 6, Plan 40R-10559, Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 2511, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. TEXT AMENDMENTS
Section 18 of By-law 2511, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the
following subsection:
18.3.6 Part of Lot 32 and Part of Block C, Plan M-1040, identified as Parts 5 and 6,
Plan 40R-10559;
(1) Despite the provisions of Section 18.1 hereof, on that part of Lot 32 and
Part of Block C, Plan M-1040, identified as Parts 5 and 6, Plan 40R-0559,
Town of Picketing, being lands designated "M2S" on Schedule A to
By-law 2511, a retail sales use accessory to a light track equipment and
accessories manufacturing and warehouse industrial use is permitted to a
maximum of ten percent of the total gross leasable floor area of all
buildings on the lands, or to a maximum of 93 square metres, whichever is
the least.

This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
