BY-LAW NO. 4815/96
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 264/75 to
establish a 60 kilometer per hour speed limit on
Concession 3 Road between Brock Road and
Ajax/Pickering Townline and establish a 40 kilometer per
hour speed limit on Southcott Road across the frontage of
St. Wilfrid Catholic School.
WHEREAS, By-law Number 264/75 allows Council to authorize speed limits on highways under the
jurisdiction of the Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to establish the speed limit on Concession 3 Road between
Brock Road and Ajax/Picketing Townline at 60 kilometres per hour;
AND WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to establish the speed limit on Southcott Road, 28 metres
south of the south intersection of Southcott Road/Conacher Crescent and 192 metres south of the south
intersection of Southcott Road/Conacher Crescent at 40 kilometres per hour;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law Number 264/75 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:

2. This By-law shall take effect upon approval by the Regional Municipality of Durham
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 24th day of June 1996.
