BY-LAW NO, 4796/96
Being a by-law to declare certain municipal lands being
that part of Lot 25, Registered Plan 820, Pickering,
designated as Part XJ(XX,, Plan 40R-XXX;~ as surplus to
the needs of the Town of Pickering in accordance with
By-Law 4592/95.
WHEREAS, The Town of Pickering on April 3, 1995 passed By-law 4592/95 to establish procedures to
regulate the sale of Municipal Real Property pursuant to section 193(2) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1990 c.M.45, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The land lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Municipality of Durham
legally described as that part of Lot 25, Registered Plan 820, Pickering, designated as Part XXX,
Plan 40R-XXXXX is hereby designated as surplus lands for the purposes of The Corporation of
the Town of Pickering.
2. The Town Solicitor is hereby authorized to make the necessary arrangements to obtain an
appraisal of the subject lands and to prepare and publish a Notice pertaining to the disposal of the
subject lands in accordance with By-Law 4592/95.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 17th day of June 1996.
