BY-LAW NO. 4782/96
Being a by-law to authorize the acquisition by the Town
of the lands identified as part of Lot 91, Registrar's
Compiled Plan 1041 and part of Lot 13, Registrar's
Compiled Plan 818, designated as Part 4, Plan 40R-
16845, pursuant to Land Division Committee Decision
LD210/95. (Taplin Drive)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45 a municipality has the authority
to pass a By-law for acquiring certain lands; and
WHEREAS, LD210/95 requires the applicant to convey certain lands to the Town for municipal
purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Town shall acquire, at a nominal cost, clear title to the lands described as that part of
Lot 91, Registrar's Compiled Plan 1041 and that part of Lot 13, Registrar's Compiled
Plan 818, designated as Part 4, Plan 40R-16845, for the purpose of creating a turning
circle at the westerly terminus of Taplin Drive.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21 st day of May, 1996.
