BY-LAW NO, 4774/96
Being a by-law to extend the time period designated in
reduced load By-law 4738~96from April 30, 1996 to May
15, 1996.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. H.8, section 122(7), or a predecessor
thereof, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted By-law 4399/94 designating the
date on which a reduced load period shall start or end and the highway or portion thereof under its
jurisdiction to which the designation applies:
AND WHEREAS, it is necessary to extend the end date of the existing by-law;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. For the purposes of subsections (1), (2) and (3) of section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O.
1990, Chap. H.8, the termination date outlined in the reduced load period By-law 4738/96 shall be
extended from April 30, 1996 to May 15, 1996.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of May, 1996.
