BY-LAW NO. 4952/97
Being a by-law to amend By-Law 2366/87, designating
parts of Strouds Lane, Foxwood Trail, Autumn Crescent,
Valley Ridge Crescent and Thicket Crescent as through
highways.
WHEREAS, section 1(I) of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter H.8, defines "through
highways" as a highway or part of a highway designated as such by the Minister or by by-law of a
municipality and provides that every such highway shall be marked by a stop sign or yield sign or yield
right-of-way sign in compliance with the regulations of the Ministry; and
WHEREAS By-Law 2366/87, as amended, provides for the designation of certain highways in the Town
of Pickering as through highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to further amend By-Law 2366/87;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule A to By-Law 2366/87, as amended, is hereby further amended to include the following:

Strouds Lane Rosebank Road West Terminus
Foxwood Trail Rosebank Road Autumn Crescent
Autumn Crescent Strouds Lane South Terminus
Valley Ridge Crescent Pine Grove Avenue Copley Street
(South Intersection)
Thicket Crescent Valley Ridge Crescent Valley Ridge Crescent and
(South Intersection) Sandcherry Court
2. This by-law shall not come into force unless it is approved by the Council of the Regional
Municipality of Durham pursuant to the Regional Municipalities Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter R.8,
section 34.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 17th day of March, 1997
