BY-LAW NO. 5 3 5 9 / 9 8
Being a by-law to establish a fee for photocopies.
WHEREAS Section 220.1(2)(a) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, as amended,
provides that a municipality and a local board may pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on any
class of persons for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The fee for providing photocopies to the public shall be as follows:
i) first five pages shall be at no cost;
ii) the sixth and subsequent pages shall be copied at the rate of 50 cents per page.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 4th day of August, 1998.
