BY-LAW NO. 5346/98
Being a by-law to authorize the acquisition of that part of
Lot 30, Concession 1, Pickering designated as Part 1,
4OR-17052 and those parts of Lot 31, Concession 1,
Pickering, designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3, 40R-17053for
road purposes (Rosebank Road).
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 191 (1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter
M.45, the Council of the The Corporation of the Town of Pickering may pass by-laws for acquiring any
land or interest therein for the purposes of the corporation;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire from Ontario Hydro, that Part of Lot 31,
Concession 1, Picketing, designated as Part 3 on 40R-17053 for road purposes (Rosebank Road).
The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire from TRCA, those parts of Lot 31,
Concession 1, Picketing, designated as Parts 1 and 2 on 40R-17053 for road purposes (Rosebank
Road).
The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall acquire from the Regional Municipality of
Durham, that Part of Lot 30, Concession 1, Picketing, designated as Part 1 on 40R-17052 for
road purposes (Rosebank Road).
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all other documentation required to effect
the acquisition of these lands.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 22nd day of June, 1998.
