BY-LAW NO. 5332/98
Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement
Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation-
OCC #2 & #11, DCC #19, #32, #35, ~42, #51,
#58, #60, #93, #106, #136 and #139).
WHEREAS pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990,
chapter P15, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the
purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The following persons are hereby appointed as municipal law enforcemem officers in and
for the Town of Picketing and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon
lands municipally known as:
DCC #139, 1400 The Esplanade, Casitas at Discovery Place:
Kris Kirbyson
DCC #93 and #106, 1880 and 1890 Valley Farm Road, Discovery Place:
JeffEastwood
Leslie Risebrough
Roger Rapson
Anita Marshall
OCC #2, OCC #11, DCC #19, DCC #32, DCC #35, DCC g42, DCC #51, DCC #58,
DCC #60, DCC #93 & 106, DCC #136 and DCC #139:
Aaron Bnmelle
John Booker
Ryan Picard
Keith Pearson
The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1,
and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1.
These appointments shall expire upon the persons appointed in section 1 hereof ceasing to
be an employee of Group 4 C.P.S. Limited, or upon Group 4 C.P.S. ceasing to be an
authorized agem of OCC #2 & #11, DCC #19, #32, #35, ff42, #51, #58, #60, #93, #106,
#136 and #139, whichever shall occur first.
By-law 4890/96 is hereby amended by deleting Cliff DeQuetteville, Bill Heard and Jim
Ormerod. By-law 5204/98 and By-law 5310/98 are hereby amended by deleting Steve
Foster.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of June, 1998.
