HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 5327/98THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 5327/98 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of Subdivision Agreements, Development Agreements, all documentation related to the development and all amendments thereto. WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P. 13 section 51 (6) and Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, section 191(1) The Corporation of the Town of Picketing requires developer to enter into agreements with the Town,, WHEREAS, it is anticipated that such Agreements will be required in many situations and it is desirable to provide for an expeditious process of such Agreements NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all Subdivision Agreements, and any amendments thereto, in a form satisfactory to the Town Solicitor, as required from time to time for the purpose of satisfying the Town's requirements for such Agreements pursuant to the provisions the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P. 13 section 51 (6) and Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all Development Agreements, and any amendments thereto, in a form satisfactory to the Town Solicitor, as required from time to time for the purpose of satisfying the Town's requirements for such Agreements pursuant to the provisions the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P. 13 section 51 (6) and Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, ° The Corporation of the Town of Picketing is hereby authorized to acquire those lands or interests in the lands referred to in Schedule A of said Agreements subject to the terms and conditions and for the purposes set out therein. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all Transfers/Deeds of Easement, effecting the acquisition by The Corporation of the Town of Picketing of any interests in the land in the nature of storm drainage works easements in the land relating to each specific draft plan of subdivision or development.
