BY-LAW NO. 531'6/98
Being a by-law to amend By-law 5163/97 to authorize
the temporary borrowing of moneys to meet the current
expenditures of The Town of Pickering for the year 1998.
WHEREAS By-law 5163/97, enacted by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickerin_g
on December 15th, 1997, authorized the temporary borrowing of moneys to meet the current
expenditures of The Town of Pickering for the year 1998; and
WHEREAS the temporary borrowing limit approved was $15,000,000; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 5163/97 to increase the temporary
borrowing limit to $30,000,000;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That By-law 5163/97 be amended by increasing the temporary borrowing limit from
$15,000,000 to $30,000,000.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 1st day of June, 1998.
