Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers
for certain purposes (Parking Regulation - OCC #2, 925
Bayly St., OCC #11, 1235 Radom St., DCC #19, 1210
Radom St., DCC #32, 1360 Glenanna Rd., DCC #42,
1310 Fieldlight Blvd., DCC #51, 1958 Rosefield Rd.,
DCC #52, 580 Eyer Dr., DCC #58, 1975 Rosefield Rd.,
DCC #60, 1915 Denmar Rd. & DCC #139, 1400 The
Esplanade, Casitas)
WHEREAS pursuant to section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, c. P. 15, as
amended, a municipal council may appoint persons to enforce the by-laws of the municipality;
and
WHEREAS pursuant to section 15(2) of the said Act, municipal by-law enforcement officers are
peace officers for the purpose of enforcing municipal by-laws;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The following person(s) be hereby appointed as a municipal law enforcement officer
in and for the Town of Pickering in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-
law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law and is
hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as:
DCC #139, 1400 The Esplanade, Casitas at Discovery Place:

Rd., DCC #139, 1400 The Esplanade, Casitas at Discovery Place:

The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in
section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in
section 1.

These appointments shall expire upon the persons appointed in section 1 hereof
ceasing to be an employee of Group 4 C.P.S. Limited or upon Group 4 C.P.S. Limited
ceasing to be an authorized agent of OCC #2, 925 Bayly St., OCC #11, 1235 Radom
St., DCC #19, 1210 Radom St., DCC #32, 1360 Glenanna Rd., DCC #42, 1310
Fieldlight Blvd., DCC #51, 1958 Rosefield Rd., DCC #52, 580 Eyer Dr., DCC #58,
1975 Rosefield Rd., DCC #60, 1915 Denmar Rd., DCC #139, 1400 The Esplanade,
Casitas at Discovery Place.
4. By-laws 4379/94 and 4789/96 are hereby repealed.

By-law 4447/94 is hereby amended by deleting Don Campbell and Edwin Boudreau.
By-law 4577/95 is hereby amended by deleting Edwin Boudreau, Don Campbell, Kris
McCarthy, Steward Short and Kevin Crawford. By-law 4587/95 is hereby amended
by deleting Bill Heard, Mike Bellemore, Darren Mulligan and Ivan Farrell. By-law
4739/96 is hereby amended by deleting Mike Lambert. By-law 5027/97 is hereby
amended by deleting Michael Lambert. By-law 5162/97 is hereby amended by
deleting Jamie Thompson and Jamie DeHart.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 2nd day of
February, 1998.
