-A Bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council of the,
Corporation of the City of Pickering at its' Meeting
of October 9, 2018
•Whereas pursuant to;Section",5(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001,.5.• 0 200.1,,••C•,:•14..25,,•••
as amended, the.-powers'ofa m•unicipality shall be •exercised by its council; and.:>
:Whereas:.pursuant to,Se'ction 5(3) of.:the said Act, a municipal power; including a ] >
municipality's capacity, rights;. powers and privileges under Section.8 of the.said
Act, shall, be exercised -by, by-law unless the municipality' is: specifically,authorized :
to do otherwise; and•
.Whereas itis deerned expedient that•the proceedings of�,the Council: of the
Corporation of the City.,'of Pickering at this meeting' be confirmed;,and adopted by•
By-law,
'Now Therefore the Councilof.the Corporation of the: City of Pickering enacts as
follows:. ,

The actions of the`Council' of; the Corporationof the City of Pickering'afits
Meeting of October 9, 2018 -in respect of each- recommendation contained`
in tle'Reports of the Committees and each motion and resolution passed
and other actiontaken by_the, Council of the Corporation of the City of
.Pickering at this meeting, is hereby adopted and confirmed as: if all -such.

The Mayorand proper officials of the Corporation of the City of:Pickering.

effect to the action of the Council of the Corporation, of the City of

The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all
.documents necessary in that -behalf and:tofaffix thereto the Seal of the
Corporation of the City of Pickering
