Being a By-law; to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) `By-law 2511, as
amended, to implement the Official PIan of the City;;of Pickering,
Region ,of Durham,; in Part of, Lots 15 &16,,Concession 1 (A 08/18)
Whereas the. Ontario Municipal Board approved By law 7404/15 amendingBy-law 2511.: -
to permit the establishment of Major Tourist Destination. on Part of Lots 15 $4'16,:
Concession 1, in the City ofPickerin'g;
.And whereas ByIaw_.7404/15 includesan;"(H 1)" Holding Symbol preceding the"MTD''
zone category, which has the effect of preventing the development of the 'Subject lands
Until such time'' as agreement and other arrangements have been completed to the
satisfaction of the. City of Pickering, Region of Durham, ,Toronto. Region Conservation
Authority :and the Province of Ontario;.:`:
And whereas an amendment to amending Bylaw 7404/15,. to remove the -'(H 1,)
Holding' Symbol- preceding.the "MTD.' zone category 'on:Part of Lots. 15 &:16,
Concession..1, :is therefore .deemed appropriate,
And. whereas the owner has entered:into agreements and other'arrangernents: to the.:i
satis• faction of•;the'City of Pickering, Region of Durham,•Toronto Region Conservation
•
Authorityi:and.th'e Province of Ontario, to address all the requirements for the "(H 1)".
Holding Symbol to:allow tie initial develo•pment,of a Major Tourist D•estination proj•ect;

Now therefore the Council of The' Corporation of the' City of Pickering hereby enacts aS -.'
follow;

Schedule 1 to By -law 7404/15•is.'herebyamended. by removing the "(H-1)"
Holding Symbol preceding the:'MTD"'zone ,category on Part of Lots 15&„16,`:
Concession 1,•asset out'on "Schedule I attached,; hereto.

the extent necessary to give effect to the provisionsof this By-law as set out in'
Section 1 above,: and as set out in Schedule ;1 attached hereto. Definitions and
subject matter not specifically' dealt with in this By-law'shall be governed by:the s
relevant provisions; of, By-law 2511, as amended:

Effective Date
This By-law shall come into, force in"accordance with`the provisions of the
