By-law No. 7644/18
Being a by-law to stop -up and close those parts of Lots
15 and 16, Concession 1 as in Hwy. Plan 498 (except
Hwy. Plan 723) being Service Road also known as
Kellino Street as public highway for the purpose of sale
to the adjacent owners, subject to required easements.
Whereas Kellino Street is a public highway under the jurisdiction of The Corporation of
the City of Pickering, and
Whereas pursuant to section 34 of the Municipal Act, the Council of the City may pass
by-laws to stop -up and close a highway.
Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as
follows:
1. The following public highway is hereby stopped -up and closed to both vehicular
and pedestrian traffic for the purpose of sale to the adjacent owners, subject to
all required easements and conveyances:
Those parts of Lots 15 and 16, Concession 1 as in Hwy. Plan 498 (except Hwy.
Plan 723) being Service Road also known as Kellino Street, Pickering
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the necessary
documents authorized by the Director, Corporate Services & City Solicitor to
effect the closing of the lands and to establish any/all required easements.
