Being a by-law to amend By-law 1562/82 temporarily closing roads for construction
purposes (Oa1cwood Drive).
THIRD REA DING:
Councillor Johnson, seconded by Councillor Ryan moved that the report of the Committee
of the Whole on By-law Numbers 4847/96 and 4848/96 be adopted and the said by-laws
be now read a third time and PASSED and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and
the seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto,

CONFIRMING BY-LAW
~-law Number 4849/96
Councillor Johnson seconded by Councillor Pistritto moved for leave to introduce a By-
law of tile Town ofPic1cering to confirm those proceedings of the Council of the
Corporation of the Town of Pickering at its meeting held on the 30th day of September,
1996 and that the !'.8ß1e be now finally passed and that the Mayor and Cleric sign the same
and that the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed, '

ornER BUSINESS
I.
Councillor Ryan reported that he distributed a letter from PACT to
Members of Council and asked if they bad any input they wanted to make
with respect to the questions asked in that letter. It was the consensus of
the Members of Council that the questions should be answered by Metro
Toronto.
2.
Councillor Pistritto reported that the Italian Club is hosting its annual
dinner on October 19, 1996.
