Clerk - Town Solicitor - Co-ordinator of Council Services ill RESOLUTIONS Resolution '168196 Moved by Councillor Johnson Seconded by Councillor Dickerson That the Council of the Cmporation of the Town of Pickering hereby adopts the fonowing recommendation of the Executive Committee fÌ'om its meeting held on June 10, 1996 at 7:50 p.JD.: , ~ . . . 1. 2, 3, 4. Recorded Vote: That the Director of Parks and Facilities to issue a purchase order with Victorian Homes (Ontario) mc, at a price not to exceed $15,000 including GST to complete the following works: a) the immediate dismantling of the CampbellfMacPberson House (in a manner which will allow for its future reconstmction, and which shall be undertaken by Ray Winterstein); b) the disposal of all materials thAt cannot reasonably be reused in the reconstruction of the CampbellfMacPherson House, as determined by the Town's ChiefBuilding Official; c) the removal of all reusable construction material fi'om Lynn Heights Park to a site being part of Lot 18, Concession 8, (provided the Contractc,r will deliver to the Town the Prior-written approval of the Û\Wer of those lands, for the storage of the material on the lands), f.:ùling which the materials will be moved to a site controlled by Donald Bennett, which is located at the intersection of Old Brock Road and Hoxton Street in Claremont, fàiling which, the materials will be moved to Town-owned land being part of Lot 19, Concession 8, designated as Part 4, Plan 40R-9448; d) the storage of the Town-owned reusable building materials fi'om the house, to be located on the above-noted lands will be secured by means of a locked chain link fence and will be stored at no cost to the Town, at the risk of the Contr@ctor, until the earlier of the date the Contractor reconstructs the Campbell/MacPberson House at a SÌ!e with the Town of Pickering, to the satisfaction of the Town; or two years fi'om the date of the purchase orda, whichever shall first occur. The materiaìs shall remain in the ownership of the town at all times, That following the removal of the house, the grading, restoration and seeding of thAt part of Lynn Heights Parks, being the former site of the CampbelllMacPberson House, shall be completed by the Town's Department of Parks and Facilities at a cost not to exceed $2,500, That the Director of Parks and Facilities is authorized to make the 1pplication on behalf of the Town for the necessary demolition permit.
