AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA
Resolution '101196
Moved by Councillor Dickerson
Seconded by Councillor Brenner
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c MAS, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of~e Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting closed to the public for the purpose of considering a property transaction and a
personnel matter.

That the Treasurer be suspended with pay for up to 30 days pending a review by the
external auditor of the budget process and reserve activity; and
That the auditol report back to Council through the Audit Committee.

That Town Council endorse the commencement of actions necessary to secure the lands in
the southwea sector of the intersection of Sheppard Avenue and Rosebank Road required
for the jog elimination at the intersection of Sheppard Avenue and Rosebank Road,
including the preparation of an engineering survey and detailed design work to implement
the jog elimination; and
That staffbe authorized to commence negotiations with the owner of 1500 Rosebank
Road, R. Pathak, (Part of Lots I and 2, Plan 816) for the acquisition of lands required
trom the property for the jog elimination at the intersection of Sheppard Avenue and
Rosebank Road, as determined through the engineering survey and detailed road design
prepantion; and
That staffbe authorized to commence negotiations with the owners of property south of
1500 Rosebank Road, which may include but not necessarily be limited to lands known as
1498, 1496, 1492 and 1490 Rosebank Road (Pan of Lot 2, Lot 3. Lot 4 and Lot 5, Plan
816) for the acqtWition of lands required for the jog elimination at the intersection of
Sheppard Avenut: and Rosebank Road, as determined through the engineering survey and
detailed road design prepamion.
