That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c M.45, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town ofPiclcering hereby resolves to et.nduct a
meeting closed to the public for the purpose of considering litigation.
CARRIED
The Town Manager distributed a letter from Metropolitan Toronto requesting the Town
Council to decide ifit wants to continue to negotiate. It was the consensus of Council
tJJa¡ the Town ahouJd wntinue to nc¡otWe with Metropolitan Toronto and to CUR that
the royalty payment the Town receives from Metro as a percenta¡e of the royalty Metro
receives from the Eastern Power Developers is continued and possibly enhanced.
