SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday, February 5, 1996

Seconded by Councillor Senis
That pursuant to Section 55(7) ofth(" , -¡nicipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c MA5, as IU11Cnded,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting closed to the public for the purpose of conside:'Ïng litigatìon.

Seconded by Councillor Brenner
That Councillor Ryan be directed to approach PACT to arrange a meeting with Members
of Council to discuss the role of PACT in the present settlement negotiations with
Metropolitan Toronto, the Ministry of Energy and the Environment, the Town of
Pickering and PACT regarding the Brock West Landfill Site.
