SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

A Special Heeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on June
25. 1984 at 7:30 p.m.
Pursuant to By-law 3714 (Procedural By-law). this Special Meeting
was called to consider By-law Number 1856/84. which was deferred
for one week at the Council Meeting of June 18th. 1984.

Mr. Conroy Dowson. representing Catenaro's Richmond Hill
Contracting. asked that Council deal with this item at
their meeting and indicated that sidewalks could be
constructed from the lot levies.

Councillor Cahill seconded by Councillor Mitchell moved for leave
to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering:
B~-law Number 1856/84
Being a by-law to authori¿e the execution of a Development
Agreement between Catenaro's Richmond Hill Contracting Company
Limited and the Corporation of the Town of Pickering respecting
Part Lot 19. Concession 8 (Claremont), (LD 389-93/83).
THIRD READING
Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Mitchell moved that the
report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Number ;856/84, be
adopted and that the said By-law be now read a Third Time and
PASSED. and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same. and the Seal
of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
By-law read a first. second and third time and finally passed.

That sterf be directed to allocate those lot levies in excess Of
$1.750.00 receivable from Cetenero's Richmond Hill Contract
Company Limited to the oon~truction of sidewalks on Brock Road in
the hamlet of Claremont.
