Pickering District High School Board reply to Township lette r asking for more infonnation re 1962 Budget - Resolution - "Thät a lette r be sent to the Township Council acknowledging their letter ot March 14th, and drawing to their attention the special meeting of March 8th for representatives to sit and discuss the detailed budget, and that only the Clerk, Mr. Johnston, attended; and this Board doe s not Care to set up anything special for the Township." Mr. Irwin advised the Clerk that copies of their minutes would be supplied at regular fee or that any ratepaye r could view all budget pape rs. 2. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hope of Conceøsion 9, Lot 35, object to men cutting trees on road allowance and falling them on and destroying his wi.. fence. After consultation with Councillor Spang the fence was pulled up and hung on top of the posts which is not satisfactory. &oad Supe rintendent view road in que stion for brush and report to Council. The Salvation Anny would like pennission to canvasS the Township in May for their Red Shield Drive. '. -- 3 -- PSOLUTION NUMBER 116/62 MOVED by Mr. Mowbray, seconded by Mr. Spang, that this Council dis- ãpprõves of the recent action of certain department heads in criticizing to the press the Council t s policy regarding purchase of small cars, inasmuch as it is the duty of department heads to carry out policy as dete rmined by Council and not to try to influence policy publicly.
