An Emereent Meeting of Counoil was held on THURSDAY, the TWELFTH day ot
lY!I, 1958, at EIGHT o'olook in the evening.

The following TENDERS were opened for 1270,000.00 - 51% - 1 to 20 years
Public School Debentures.

Limited asked a 30 day option on 1250,000.00 of such debentures at
a price ot 100.69.

Messrs. John Brown of J. L. Graham & Company and John Graham of
Bell, Gouinlock & Company appeared for their respectiye firms.
As there were no bids tor the debentures as tendered it was
MOVED by Mr. Scott, seconded by Mr. Hawthorne, that no action be
taken on any of aboye proposals and that Clerk call for new tenders
on '270,000.00 - 1 to 20 year debentures with alternate interest
rates of 5~ - 5!% - 5i% and that the three firms be asked to re-
tender by June 23rd. CARRIED
Mr. Potter of Potter Construction asked tor a license to operate a new
and second hand bu1~ding materials supply on 2 acres in South East part
Lot 33, Concession 3, on west side ot Todd's hill. Mr. Potter olaimed he
had an option to rent trom Mr. Garland this parcel for three years.
Council telt Hr. Potter's business would be very acceptable to them but
that the location ot the propo.ed business was not good and that if Mr.
Potter would again meet Council on June 16th they would try to sugcest
a more desirable location.
AGREED that Councillor Pugh contact Mr. Hicks for a man to out weeds and
brush in all Township oemeteries.
AGREED that there be a public ..eting in Rosebank Hall on Tuesday, June
24th at 8 P. M. to discuss East Rouge Zonine. Clerk notify all owners.
