Llrwson, in the Chair J. Sherman Scott Sidney S. J. Pugh Edgar J ame s Glenn Julian Robert L. Stewart L. T. Johnston, Clerk The 'following CORRESPONDENCE was read. 1. Josef Paul made application for a Salvage Yard, mostly scrap iron, in North half of South half Lot 2, Concession 1. 2. Deuartment of Education Community Prolrammes division approved By-Law Number 2246 wherein members were appointed to Board. 3. R. E. Winters and Associates ofter services as Town Planners. 4. Taxes Collected - June - Arrears - $ 8,190.57 to June - Current - 321,121.23 to $ 65,133.08 outstanding 500,881.67 outstanding The following PERSONS. on MOTION, were heard. 1. Mr. Godson, re roads. 2. Mr. Paul, re Wrecking License, Concession 1, Lot 2. 3. Mrs. Kowalow asked Council to take over private east-west road in Lots 19 and 20, Concession 3. 4. Steve Kaskiw asked Council to prohibit his ,former septic tank installer from îhstalling more septic tanks in this Township as he is not satisfied with his work. Mr. Kaskiw was directed to contact Mr. Robson of the Health Unit. 5. Wm. FairÆrieves asked Council for their decision on permitting a vote on a Brewer's Warehouse without petition. RESOLUTION NUMBER 129 MOVED by Mr. Scott, seconded by Mr. Julian, that, if it is possible to hold a vote at same time as Municipal elections, a vote be taken this December on the question "Are you in favour of the establishment of Government Stores for the sale of beer only tor residence consumption." MOTION LOST BY-LAW NUMBER 2249 Third I .eading Mr. Stewart, Seconded by Mr. Pugh, moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-Law Number 2249 be adopted, and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal ot the Corporation be affixed thereto.
