Reuben Tindall, Secretary, School Section 7, re subdivision lots. 2. Fire Marshall, advising that they had inspeoted Rosebank Manor and round that it oomplied with all their reoommendations. 3. Dr. A. E. Berry, Director of' Sanitary Engineering Divisien, Department of' Health re drainage problem at Fairport, east side. 4. Associat~9n of Assessin~ Orrioers. Ontario. advising that their Annual Meeting will be at Brobk Hotel, Niagara Falls, June 13, l4 and l5. 5. Re ort~ 19 Permits, Value . l4~,600.00. 12 ll,500.00. Messrs. DesBrisay and L. Livesay discussed Construction By-Law f'or West Rouge waterworks. MOVED by Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Soott, that D. Goslin and A. J. Thompson be delegates to Assessor's Convention at Niagara Falls, June l3, 14 and 15, with expenses not to exceed $ 40.00 each. CARRIED MOVEP by Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr: Scott, that Mrs. Dori s Harvey be engaged part time to assist the nurse with her work at . 8.33 per day. CARRIED Police Committee Meeting at Polioe Building, Saturday, 8:30 A. M., April 23rd. CLERK'S INSTRUCTIONS 1. Advise Mr. Wells to fix the oracks in plaster of' Polioe Building. , 2. Get price from Mr. Ward for preparing and paving Rouge Hills Drive ~ rrom Golf Club to Island Road. 3. Write Mr. Harrison, Scarborough Public Utilities Commission, relative to five or six Township or Pickering residents on Townline south of' Highway 40l, obtaining water from their system. BY -LAW NUMBER (2 Readings) Mr. W. G. Lawson. seconded by Mr. J. S. Soott, moves f'or leave to introduoe a By-Law of the Corporation or the Township of Piokering to authorize the oonstruotion of watermains, and that same now be read a rirst time. Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Pugh, moves that By-Law Number to authorize the construction of watermains, be now read a seoond time and that Counoil to into Committee of the Whole thereon. "Y 1955 . .
