A meeting of Pickering Township Council was held on WEDNESDAY,
the FOURTH day of DECEMBER. 1963. at the MUNICIPAL BUILDING.
BROUGHAM, at 7:40 o'clock p. m.

As Road Supplementary By-Law No. 2836 passed December 3rd
was passed in error for Township share of necessary Road
expenditures without Provincial grant. it was necessary to
correct such by-law before December 7th.
BY-LAW NUMBER 2837
Mrs~ McPherson. seconded by Mr. Spang. moves for leave to
introduce a By-Law of the Township of Pickering to provide
for the 1963 supplementary expenditures on roads in the
Township of Pickering in the County of Ontario. and that
same now be read a first time.
Mrs. McPherson. seconded by Mr. Mowbray. moves that By-Law
No. 2837 to provide for the 1963 supplementary expenditures on
roads in the Township of Pickering in the County of Ontario,
be now read a second time, and that Council go into Committee of
the Whole thereon,
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read.
Mrs. McPherson. seconded by Mr~ Wank. moves that the report
of the Committee of the Whole Oft By-Law No. 2837 be adopted,
and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and PASSED;
that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same. and the Seal of the
Corporation be affixed thereto. CARRIED
Reeve Scott advised Council that Mr. R. W. Hiebert. of Apt.

Pl07, 25 Lascelles Blvd., Toronto. Telephone 485-0945, had
verbally accepted $50,000.00 for gravel pit.
On MOTION of Mr. Mowbray, the meeting adjourned at 7:50 þ. m.
