Hawthorne, that subject to the requirements of the Township Engineer, that approval be given to North- view Construetion Company Limited to instal a temporary It inoh water- main on Island Road, 300 feet east from Rouge Hills Drive, until perm- anent main laid. CARRIED Mr. Pears, of Standard Paving Company Limited, stated some of thei~ machinery had broken down and they wisked to move other maohinery from their stock pile in Concession 1, Lot 21, to their pit in Concession 3, Lot 32, and back again. Such machinery on floats would have a greater weight than permitted under the Highway Traffic Act. Couneil agreed, and passed: BY-LAW NUMBBR 2399 Mrs. MCPherson, seoonded by Miss Swan, moves for leave to introduce a By-Law of the Township of Pickering to permit Standard Paving Company Limited to ..ve equipment on a floatlto and from Lot 23, Concession 3 to Lot 21, Cencession 1, and that same now be read a first time. Mrs. McPherson, secondedby Mr. Spang, moves that By-Law NUlllber 2399 to permit St....rd Paving Company Limited to move equipment on a floats to and from Lot 23, Concession 3, to Lot 21, Concession I, be now read a second time and that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. The C...ittee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read. ørl. McPhers.n, seconded by Mr. Hawthorne, moves that the report of the Committee .f the Whole on B,y-Law No. 2399 be adopted, and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and Clerk sign the ...., an. the Seal of the Corp oration be affixed thereto.
