A meeting of pickering Township Council
was held on FRIDAY the THIRTIETH day of
DECEMBER, 1966, at TIDI-FORTY FIVE a.m.

A special meeting of council was called for the purpose of
appointing by By-law a member to the Pickering District
High School Board. The appointment was made at this time
after considerable deliberation and in order that a full
board would be present at the inaugural meeting to be held
on January 3rd, 1967.
By-Law Number 3222
Deputy Reeve J. L. McPherson, seconded by councillor D. Beer
moves for leave to introduce a By-law of The Township of
Pickering to appoint a member to the Picke~ing District High
School Board for a three year term and that same now be
read a first time.
Deputy Reeve J. L. McPherson, seconded by Councillor N.
Waller moves that By-law Number 3222 to appoint a member
to the pickering District High School Board for a three year
term be now read a second time, and that council go into
Committee of the Whole thereon.
The committee of the Whole arises and reports the by-law
as read.
Deputy Reeve J. L. McPherson, seconded by Councillor D.
Beer moves that the report of the committee of the Whole
on By-law Number 3222 be adopted, and that the said By-law
be now read a Third Time and PASSED, that the Reeve and
Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of 1:he Corporation be
affixed thereto.
