A meeting of Pickering Township Council
was held on MONDAY the FOURTEENTH day
of NOVEMBER, 1966, at EIGHT: TEN
o'clock p.m.
PRESENT: Reeve C. W. Laycox
Deputy Reeve J. L. McPherson
Councillors: J. Williams

H. Spang
N. Waller
R. Chatten

For the purpose of openning tenders for a sidewalk and due
to the great need for same, it was MOVED by Councillor
J. Williams, seconded by Councillor R. Chatten that this
committee convene into Council, at 8:15 o'clock p.m.
Sidewalk to be located on Altona Road (Rouge Hill School)
and Toyne Vale Road from Rougemount Dr. to Rosebank Road.

MOVED by Councillor R. Chat ten. seconded by Councillor
J. Williams. that the quotation of Miller Paving for
the construction of a sidewalk on Altona Road be accepted
subject to the approval of the Township Engineer.
Deduction of a surn equal to the cost of tree removal
be negotiated by Engineer and that application for
subsidy from D.H.O. be dispensed with until permanent
sidewalk constructed.
