A meeting of Pickering Township Council
was held on WEDNESDAY, the FIFTH day of
OCTOBER, 1966, at EIGHT o'clock p. m.

PRESENT: Reeve C. W. Laycox
Deputy Reeve J. L. McPherson
Councillors: D. Beer
H. Spang
R. Chatten
J. Williams
D. J. PIitz, Clerk
A special meeting of Council was called to appoint a
member to Council to fill the vacancy created by the
resignation of Mr. J. Campbell.
By-Law Number 3204
Councillor R. Chatten seconded by Councillor H. Spang
moves for leave to introduce a By-law of The Township
of Pickerinq to appoint a new member to Council for the
term office expiring December 31st, 1967 due to the
resignation of an elected member and that same now be
read a first time.
Councillor R. Chatten seconded by Councillor D. Beer moves
that By-law Number 3204 to appoint a new member to Council
for the term office expiring December 31st, 1967 due
to the resignation of an elected member be now read a
second time, and that Council go into Committee of the
Whole thereon.
TheCOIiUnittee of the Whole arises and reports the By-
law as read.
Councillor R. Chatten seconded by Councillor J. Williams
moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on
By-law Number 3204 be adopted, and that the said By-
law be now read a Third Time and PASSED, that the Reeve
and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation
be affixed thereto.

Resolution #429
MOVED by Councillor J. Williams, seconded by Councillor
H. Spang, that the tender price of Neil Patrick Motors
Ltd. be amended to read $3,638.34 from $3,621.20 an
increase of $17.14 over the original price due to the
addition of power brakes and longer Wheel base and longer
body requested by the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering and that resolution #363 be rescinded.

J. Williams, that this meeting do now adjourn 9: 15 p. m.,
October 5, 1966.
