A meeting of Pickering Township Council was held on
Friday, March 11th, 1966, at the Municipal Building,
Brougham, at 1:01 a.m.
PRESENT:
C.W. Laycox, in the Chair
Mrs. J.L. McPherson

John Campbell
Harvey Spang
Donald Beer
D.J. PIitz, Clerk
IN ATTENDANCE: Ronald Mitchell, Treasurer.
Council convened following the Finance Committee meeting to
pass the follow~g resolution.
RESOLUTION NUMBER 115L§ó
MOVED by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Mr. Williams, that the
Council of the Township of Pickering agrees to accept the
proposal of the Ontario Water Resour~es Commission to have
that part of the Township adjacent to the Village of Pickering
included in the overall sewage works programme (study). It
is understood that the cost of any study related to the
portion of the work which will be Provincially owned wil~ be
undertake~ at the expense of the Commission, and the cost
of work not related to the Provincially-owned portion must be
authori~ed by the municipality and the cost borne by the
municipality.
