A meeting of Pickering Township Council was held on WEDNESDAY, the
TWENTY-FOURTH day of NOVEMBER, 1965, at the Municipal Building,

RESOLUTION NUMBER 411/65

MOVED by Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Wank, that th~s Counc~l select,
as recommended by the Architects for the new municipal building,
brick sample No. 19, Kingsway shaletex for the said new building.

RESOLUTION NUMBER 412/65
MOVED by Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Wank, that this Council recommend
that the Roneo 750 be rented for the balance of 1965 at $45.00 per
month and that this Council recommend to the 1966 Council purchase
of a new Roneo 750. CARRIED
RESOLUTION NUMBER 413/65
MOVED by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Mr. Wank. that this Council hire
Mr. George J. Zeller as By-Law Enforcement Officer at a salary of
$5.500.00 per annum, and that his duties commence December 13, 1965,
and that he be hired on a probationary period of three months; as
recommended by Council in Committee of the Whole. CARRIED
BY-LAW NUMBER 3075
Mr. Wank, seconded by Mrs McPherson, moves for leave to introduce a
By-Law of the Township of Pickering to classify Township staff
positions, and that same now be read a first time.
Mr. Wank, seconded by Mr. Spang, moves that By-Law Number 3075 to
classify Township staff positions, be now read a second time, and
that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read.
Mr. Wank. seconded by Mr. Newman. moves that the report of the
Committee of the Whole on By-Law No. 3075 be adopted, and that 'the
said By~Law be now read a Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and
Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed
thereto. CARRIED
