A me~ting of pickering Township Council was held on MONDAY. the TWENTY-
SIXTH day of APRIL. 1965, at J~ilQ p.m.

Mr. C. W. Laycox and Mr. Poulsson had discussed with
representatives of the Ontario Hydro the proposed Access Road
servicing the new Pickering Generating Station, and since the
Hydro wish to begin work on this road May 3, 1965, it was felt
expedient that the matter should be put before members of Council.
A letter of Understanding was read to Council which
pointed out certain road improvements and new road construction.
and that all construction expense was to be borne by the Ontario
Hyd~o except for administrative cost, e.g. engineering, clerical
and construction supervision.
As a result of this meeting the following resolution
was passed..

MOV~D by Mr. Wank, seconded by Mr. Newman, that the Reeve and Clerk
be ~uthorized to sign a Letter of Understanding between the Township
of Pickering and the Ontario Hydro with regard to the Pickering
Generating Station Access Road - Brock Road; Montgomery Road (Range Li~e)
