A Mutual Ben~rit Society of 200 members wish to purchase 20 acreS in Lots 3 and 4, Concession 5 and build overnight cabins under By-Law No. 1795. Council may permit this. To be turned over to the Planning Board. School Area 2 Board ask Council to consider paths for children on Highway 2 when widened to four lane and consider Altona Road sidewalks again. Town of ftichmond Hill ask Council to endo~se their resolution to permit voting on question, "Are you in favour of the Prov- inoial Government being responsible for the full costs of education?" at next Municipal Election. No action taken. City of St. Thomas ask Council to endorse their resolution, flThat the Ontario Hospital Services Commission provide ambulance service." No action taken. 2. 3. 4. 5. Department of Commerce and Development ask Councils to consider calling meetings of all departments and agencies to provide for emersency relief in case of floods. Metro Toronto Industrial Commission ask Township to again become a member for 1961. See Resolution No. 82/61. Our Solicitors think that the resolution of Kinsale School should Ie followed up with a petition of five ratepayers from each siAe of section as required by the Act, and that the arbitrator should be appointed by By-Law not resolution. RESOLUTION NUMBEA 'S/6l ~OVED by Mr. Laygox, seconded by Mr. Deakin, that in accordance with the Planning Boardts recommendation this Council does now approve the amending of the Zoning By-Law to permit Drive-in Theatre uses on one of the two sites considered (either west side of Valley Farm Road, o~ west side of Station Road between Highways 2 and 401).
