Clerk 0( Metro Toronto advises that W. Grant Messer has been appointed to Metro Planning Board to January 1, 1963 subject to the approval of the Minister. Ontario Water Resources Commission approval for West Rouge sewage plant and mains at a cost of $518,000.00. pntarioMuniciDal Board approval for $100,500.00 debentures for .storage tank in We st Rouge. Ontario Water Resources Commission approval for mains for Brock Jioad wa~r mains at a cost of t93;000.00. Donald ¡'ynde, Fire Chief, submitted his 1959 report on fires in Area No.1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. The following PERSONS, on MOTION, were heard: 1, Mrs. COQk asked for usual $100.00 grant for Crippled Children swimmin* instruction. See Resolution No. 50/60. 2. Messrs. ¡Boy Miller and FloYd Petch asked Council to permit the Hamlet of' Brougham to erect 15 additional street lights at a cost of $1,500.00 and repair p'resent lights at cost of $600.00; that Council pay the usual 40% capital cost and operating and permit ratepayers share of capital to extend over three years. Mr. James, seconded by Mr. Ashton, moves that By-Law Number 2477 to divide the Township into Fire Areas be now read a second time, and that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read. Mr. James, seconded by Mr. Spang, moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-Law No. 2477 be adopted, and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and C~erk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
