An Emergent Meeting of Council was held on TUESDAY, the FOURTH day
of MAY, at EIGHT o'clock in the evening.
PRESENT: George T. Todd, in the Chair
Clare A. Balsdon
William G. Lawson
Hugh G. Michell
BY-LAW NUMBER 2006
Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, moves for leave to introduce a
By-Law to amend By-Law Number 1787, and that same now be read a first
time. (Building)
Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Michell, moves that By-Law Number 2006 to
amend By-Law Number 1787 be now read a second time, and that the
Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole then arose and reported.
Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, moves that the Report of the
Committee of the Whole on By-Law No. 2006 be adopted, and that the said
By-Law be now read a Third time and passed; that the Reeve and Clerk
sign the same, and that the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
The balance of the evening was spent in preparing a Schedule of road work
to be done in 1954.
On MOTION of Mr. Lawson, the meeting adjourned.
