Nichell, SECONDED by 5~r. Balsdon tha~ Council agree to accept Nr. C.E. Lewis;s proposal for Canadian General Electric that his Company pays 100% of cost of proposed new Road at north end of their property, i and 50% of cost of .improving East Avenue from Range Line to proposed ~ new Road. CARRIED MOVED by Mr. Newman, SECONDED by Mr. Michell that 30 miles per hour Speed Limit Zones be declared at Rouge West, where said Zones conform to the Highway Act. CARRIED MOVED by ~_r. Newman, SECONDED by Mr. Balsdon that a Test Hole be dug at end of Liverpool' Road near the lake to endeavour to locate a "WATER GALLERY". ~. CARRIED MOVED by Mr. Newman, SECONDED by ~r. ~Iichell that a desk and ~chair be pUrchased for Mrs. Spang at a cost of $133.35. CARRIED MOVED by Mr. Lawson, SECONDED by Mr. Newman that the T~easurer pay- Picketing Village~$1,000.00 on account of division of Assets according to Agreement. CARRIED MOVED by Mr. Lawson, SECONDED by ~fr~ Newman that Council take over the Picketing Village Well on the 5th Concession at no cost, but the Township will place a leaky valve on the pipe to r educe the flow, but · leave it so that it will not freeze in the Winter. CARRIED MOVED by Mr. Newman, SECONDED by ~r. Lawson that Of 90% of the Township Employees sign for Hospital Co-Operative Plan. Council will pay 50% of the premiums. MOTION LOST MOVED by ~r. Lawson moves that By-Law No.1~62. of the Municipality of the Township of Picketing to stop up and close as a Public Hishway the Range Line Road between Broken Fr.nt Ranges one and two in Lot Number 35, save and except the Westerly~222 Feet, be now read a Second Time, and that the Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon.
