PRESENT: George T. Todd -'in'the Chair Clare A. Balsdon Hugh G. Nichell William G. Newman William G. Lawson BY-LAW N©· 1945 Mr. W. G. Lawson and SECONDED by Mr. C. A. Balsdon moves for leave to introduce a By-~aw to assess the Municipality of the Township of Picketing, including the Police Villages of Picketing and Claremont, fora General Public School Rate to provide funds for the Township Statutory Grants to Public Schools in the year 1953: and that the same now be read a First time. Mr. W. G. Lawson and SECONDED by ~r. C. A. Balsdon moves that By- Law No. 19~5 to Asse~s the Municipality of the Township of Pick- ering, including the Police Villages of Picketing and Claremont, for a General Public School Rate to provide funds f~ the Town- ship StatutOrYsGrants~to Public Schools in the year 1953: be now read a econd time, and that the Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. Mr. W. G. Lawson and SECONDED by Mr. C. A. Balsdon moves that the Report of the Committee of the Whole on ~y-Law No. 1945 be adopted, and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and Passed: that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and that the seal of the Corporation be a ff~xed thereto.
