The MINUTES of the previous meeting, held August 1st, 19~2, were
read, and on MOTION of Mr. Burk, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, AD0~TED.
The MINUTES of an Emergent meeting, held August 13th, 19~2, were
read~ and on MOTION of Mr.. Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Burk, ADOPTED.
The MIN~JTES of an Emergent meeting, held August 26th, 19~2, were
read, and on MOTION of Mr. Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Burk, ADOPTED.
The following CORRES~0~DEi~CE was read:

privileges of dump, and will keep it clean.
2. James Barton, asking for agreement to keep dump clean, cannot

The trailer situation is gradually being cleaned up, but as some
of them are not mobile it will be necessary to have the co-operation
and assistance of Dr. Tomlinson, ~.0.H. to prosecute under the
Health Act. It will also be necessary to amend the Trailer Camp
By-Law, to ma~e it unlawful for any person or persons to use or
occupy a trailer as living quarters. This is also the opinion of
~Mr. Grant, Q.C., the Township .solicLtor. ! was under the impression
that he was taking steps to have thins section added to the By-Law.
The number of juvenile offenders this moath~ is appalling, and the
only solution to the matter as I see i~t, is some form of supervised
recreation in the area. Twenty-three criminal charges against
juveniles this month, shows to some extent what will have to be
contended with~ in the near future, as these boys get a few years
alder. It will be noted that the fines a~e much greater this month,
which shows the all-out effort of the Department to make this a
better place in which to live. I am enclosing a copy of a letter
reCeived from the Rouge Hills Lions Club,~ for your information.

MOVED by ~r. Newman, seconded by Mr. Burk, that Council recommend to the
P~ing Board that no further subdivisions be approved in the Township
until further grants are promised by the Governments for education costs
or that sufficient industrial assessment is· assured to relieve the ~
present high educational cost. CARRIED
MOVED by Mr. Burk, seconded by Mr. Newman, that Council procure eight~
cushions for Councillors' chairs. CARRIED
MOVED by Mr. Burk,, seconded by Mr. Michell, that Council grant $7~.00
to the South Ontario Plowmens' Association for the year 19~2. CARRIED

MOVED by Mr. Burk, seconded by Mr. Michell, that Agreement between Road
Superintendent~ and Mr. H. A. Newman re culverts be carried out.

MOVED by Mr. Balsdon, seconded by bE. Newman, that an Agreement
~gned with W. Jackson, so that he will maintain the Township
Dump in proper order and that for the sole privilege of reclaim-
ing materials he pay $50.00 per month, but no large quantities
of rubber may be burned. CARRIED
AGREED that a 5 foot wide walk be built by the Township from the
Police Village of Picketing northemlimits to High School gate
so that it can.be cleaned.with.a power scraper..
AGREED that Du~barto~~ ~dewalks be fixed.
