PRESENT: George T. Todd, Chairman Milton So Burk C.A. Balsdon Hugh C. Michell William G. Newman W. ~C.~ Willson was heard re sheep valuation. The Following CORRESPONDENCE was read: 1. Francis V. Bradley, Plan 228, Lot 26, asked for a Kennel License. 2. R.oy Slatterl~, Concession l, Lot 32, asked for a Kennel License. 3. Mr. Dewsbury, North of Rosebank Station, asked~for a Kennel License. Wells Ritchie asked that ~his property in Concession 3, Lot 3~2, be transferred from School Section 7 to School Section 8. 5. Office Specialty. quoted $~0~00 for Standard Oak finished chair for Council. 6. Recommendation from the Planning Board that Building°Inspector issue no permits for houses on lots which do not front a 66ofoot road. 7. Information that Liquor Control Board's policy is that they will not issue Banquet Licenses in Local Option Areas, except for weddings. 8. Johns-Manville Company asked permission ~(possibly) to supply raw water and steam to an industry in B. F. R.3,2, Lot 35. Clerk get advice from Grant. 9. CARRIED AGREED that Clerk call a meeting of large owners of lands from Liverpool Road to Ajax and from No. 2 Highway to Lake ~tario re zoning for in- dustry on June 5, 1952, at 8 P. M. BY-LAW NUMBER NUMBER 1910 Mr. Burk, seconded by ~. Balsdon, moves for leave to introduce a By-Law to secure street lighting for area surrounding Harwood Drive, and that same now be read a first time. Mr. Burk, seconded by Mr. Ne~an, moves that U-Law No. 1910 to secure street li~ting for area surrounding Harwood Drive, be now read a second t~ and that the Council go into Committee of the whole thereon. Mr. Burk, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, moves that the Report of the Committee of the ~ole on U-Law No. 1910 be adopted, ~d that the said U-Law be now read a Third time and passed; that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and that the seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
