PRE~ENT: Ail Members of Council Picketing Village Trustees Ajax District Trustees Lawyers Grant, I~aser and Newman. about SO Ratepayers of Picketing Village Area. A general discussion of our By-law to zone 2,100 acres around Ajax and Picketing Village was held; also of the proposed water agreement between Ajax and Picketing. It was agreed the agreement for water should be between the Improvement District of Ajax and the Police Village of Picketing, wit-h Central Mortgage & Housing Corporation and Picketing Township being parties thereto. MOVED by Mr. Clare A. Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Milton B. Burk, that the Picketing Township Council agree to the Police Village of Picketing accepting the water contract as submitted by the Improvemefit District of Ajax, subject to a further clause whereby water will be served to Lot 17, Concession 1, between Highways No.2 and 2A, if, as and when taken into the Police Village of Picketing. CARRIED. Mr. Melville Grant was asked to re-word our Zoning By-law and have it for a Council meeting on Thursday, May 31st, 1951, at 8 P.M. on'MOTION of Dr. N.E.McEwen, the meeting then adjourned.
