The MINUTES of the meeting held on April 2nd 1951, were read and on

C ORRESP ONDENCE:
1. A.W.S.Greer complaining about diversion road Concession 4, between
lots 14 and 15 through gravel pit. Clerk advise that the District
Engineer recommended the Township take their gravel out and have
road straightened as soon as reasonably possible.
2. C.E.Morle[ re Non-0waership Policy.
3. Gore & Storrie advising present cost-of water to Picketing
Village ~Ii9,324.50.
4.' Copy letter Chief Constable to Ratepayers' Association of
Fairport Beach suggesting :-
1. Pa~king be prohibited'in Fairport Beach in.area
close to water.
2. Ratepayers provide a parking area with attendant
and charge a fee.
3. The Ratepayers charge a fee to enter Community Park.
5. Dep~rtment of Highwaysapproval $100,000. for 1951 Road Expenditure
5. Petition of 12 names complainiag about watercourse at Riverside.

Association, asking for ~uards for Dunbarton School Children.
2. lit. Knox re road conditions at Fairport Beach.
3- Mr. C.E.Morley re Picketing Village Water.
4- Mr. Clifford Schwalm - Dog-catcher - complained about people
taking dogs to Toronto to be destroyed at expense of Township -

1869 to increase the rem~eration of the Deputy-Reeve and Co~cillors,
be now ~ead a second time, and tha~ the Co,oil go into Co, tree of
the ~ole thereon,

of ~he C~ttee of the ~ole on By-law No. 1869 be adopted, and

~rton School Board hire two Guards for the ~nbarton S, chool
Chil~en at ~o Dollars ($2.00) per day, as a temporary meas~e,
for May and June 1951, and that this Co~cil pay fi~y percent

introduce a By'law to regulate the use of land in a certain
area in the Township of Picketing, and that same new be read
a first .time.
