CLERK'S INSTRUCTIONS. · . 1. Advise S. Osterhout that the sideline between. N.~ Lots 26 and 27 - East half has been sold to Henderson. 2. Have deed sideline (as in No.1) conveyed to Henderson. 3. Advise Road Superintendent to fix sidewalks in B~ougham. 4- Get account from Melville Grant. 5- Arrange date~for meeting Uxbridge Council regarding division of 1949 road expenditu~es, Uxbridge Townline. 6. Advise McKee that his sideline will be b~ushed this winter if not too much snow. 7. Advise Stanley Mann that the Township assumes no responsibility for wells on Township roads. If they are kept safe, the Township has no objection to their use, but if not, they will be filled up. MOVED by N~. Balsdon, seconded by N~. Bu~k, that this Council do now resume as a Cou~t of Revision for revising the Township Assessment Roll for the year 1950, and that the Reeve be Chairman thereof. ' ~ CARRIED. The application of Nr. Lyle Jones of Concession l, north half Lot 23 for a~reduction in assessment was again re-opened. 'A letter was read from Mr. Melville Grant, Lawyer, advising that the agreement dated May 20th 1946 was not valid and that the suggested assessment of $1,000. general and $7,550. on School rates, was most generous, and reeow,,e~ded that calcium be used in front of M~. Jones' Motel next year. MOVEDby Mr. Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Disney, that Mr. Lyle JOnes p~operty in Concession 1, north half lot No. 23 be reduced from $16,725' to $8,550. as recommended by the Assessor. CARRIED.
